Week 1: August 11-15
Monday, August 11: Getting to Know Mrs. Neilson: I introduced myself and the classroom. We also played "blue cards" to increase class unity.
Tuesday, August 12: Spelling Pre-Test, Editing Pre-Test, Introduce Ninja Mascot: Students took a spelling pre-test and an editing pre-test that will help me understand the students' learning needs. These cannot be taken outside of class.
Wednesday, August 13: Writing Pre-Test: Students wrote an argumentative essay about whether books or movies are better.
Thursday, August 14: More Class Rules and Procedures: We went through a PowerPoint to review and reinforce our class rules and procedures.
